Happy Spring!

Since today is the first day of Spring, we got together with one of our play groups to plant flowers for one of the little girls Great Grandpa Sonny! Brynn wasn't so fond of the idea of getting dirty in the dirt so happy we remembered to bring along the shovel!

Here she is with Abby filling up her cup to fill up her flower pot...

Brooklyn didn't mind the dirt one bit! She kept trying to drink her cup of dirt - I caught her most of the time!

Time to water!

Taking a break with a book...

It took Brynn a little while to warm up, but then Lilly the dog came out!

The gang... pretty good picture! Can't believe we got them all to look!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Well we tried on 3 different days to get a decent St. Patty's Day picture and didn't have much luck. This one is probably the best of the bunch! It went downhill from there...

Jacks saying, "I don't know what's wrong with her... I'm ready!"

They're favorite part was having a picnic at the end of the photo shoot. Picture taking is exhausting!

Our Baby is 15 Months!

3/13/13 means 15 months for our baby girl... she's growing too fast! and still not sleeping through the night, but we still love her! Here they are acting out the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" this morning.

She looks so cute and innocent here! We went to the doctor this morning and the poor girl had to get 3 shots. He said she's perfect in every way. She weighs 21.8 (30th percentile) and is 31.5 inches tall (80th percentile!) ... he said she'll probably be tall.

After our visit, we celebrated by playing in the water table. It's going to be 90 today and it feels HOT already... We filled up the table and I didn't even get a chance to put the 15 month sticker on it before she had already climbed in and was ready to take a bath!

I promise we do give our girls drinks!

Happy 15 months baby girl! You always keep us on our toes!

Fun With the Sensory Bin...

So I've always read so much about sensory bins for kids and to me they never sounded like they would be that much fun... plus the idea of setting one up just sounded like it was going to be such a mess to clean up. Call me crazy, but I decided to put one together today (thanks to Daddy for getting the beans yesterday!). It was a perfect day because little Miss Brooklyn got up at 5:15am today so by 10am we were all getting a little cranky. I put this out in the living room and they played with it until 11:20am! I couldn't believe it... it was GREAT!!!

They had a blast scooping the beans out and putting them in muffin tins, the other box, dumping them in the funnel - you name it. Brynn loved trying to use the tongs to pick up the pom poms and easter eggs. It was really fun - for me too!

After playing outside of the tub for a while, they decided to get in! They were pretending it was a choo choo train  - and Brynn kept saying "choo, choo!!" Take a look at Brooklyn's hair... we've noticed some curls popping out in the last few days. Still trying to figure out if they're really curls or just from the styling products she uses in her hair (that would be yogurt, fruit, soup and anything else she may be eating!) - I really do think they might be some curls though because we gave her a bath and they were still there! It's cute.

Silly sisters!!!

Brooklyn decides she's had enough

and shows me "done" with her hands!

Little did I know, she was headed for the kitchen to get these veggie sticks that I had on the counter! Little stinker. She took one and climbed on top of the train table to enjoy her snack! Love her little face... she can reach on top of the counter now and also open the doors. Good thing Daddy installed different locks on the door so they can't unlock the top lock without having a key. We don't want to lose them!

Random Pics of My Favorite Girls!

Brooklyn has really started to grow up these past few weeks... everyone who knows her knows that she has never really liked to cuddle, but now she has been quite the little snuggler and I love it! She has also started carrying around purses and her babies. I think she's been watching her big sister!

This was too cute not to grab the camera - which is always close by of course! They were watching Barney and holding hands!! I love these girls so much...

Brooklyn has been working on her down dog and somersaults as well. Brynn has been showing her  how to do everything. Last week when I took them to the jumping gym, they were doing somersaults all over the place! Almost time for gymnastics!!

This was just last night... she was cracking up because she was going around giving all of us high 5's! Doesn't she look like such a big girl now? Oh - she finally got her other front tooth last week!! It's still working it's way out but at least we know it's there... she won't be the "jack-o-lantern" for too much longer!

You can just feel the excitement in her face! She was loving it!

Peter Piper Pizza's Newest Employees!

We met up with our play group today and went to Peter Piper Pizza for a behind the scene tour. Each child got their own ball of dough to practice rolling it out on the flour table...

Then we watched the big guy cut the dough for the real pizza's!

After we all washed our hands, we got to make our very own pizza's to eat!

It's our turn! Brynn told the lady she wanted cheese on her pizza and then we added a few pepperoni's! Brooklyn tasted the sauce first with her finger of course to give us the final A-Ok before putting it in the oven.

Time to eat! The girls were so good!

Then time to play!

Abby and Brynn on the dragon

She played some basketball...

and got a few tickets... 50 to be exact - which bought us a lollipop! She was in heaven. I guess next time Mommy needs to play a few games to win something for Brooklyn because she was a bit upset that she didn't get a lollipop too :-(

It's official - we have 2 Official Pizza Makers here! Call us up to place an order! ... They're very good!
