Beautiful Belle...

Brooklyn loves dressing up these days. She can't get enough of dresses, sparkles & cowboy boots!

Beautiful Belle and her baby brother. XOXO

A Special Surprise...

On Monday, June 6th, I went outside at 5:30am to unlock the gate for the landscapers and I saw the smallest kitty on our block wall. I wasn't thinking quite clearly yet and my first instinct was to get it - because with the 115+ temps outside, I knew the kitty didn't really stand a chance. Well, she jumped down on the other side of the block wall and I couldn't find her. I debated on whether or not to tell the girls because I didn't want them getting excited - but I couldn't hold it in, and I told them. We said little prayers that the kitty would be ok and would find water or come back to our house. I thought about her all day because of the extreme heat we've been having and she looked like she needed water badly. Well, later that night, we put water on the wall and went for a walk to the mailbox to see if we could see the kitty. We got stuck talking to the neighbors down the street and in the meantime, saw our other neighbor walking outside with a cat carrier. Long story short - it was the cat! The kitty got in her yard earlier that day and was attacked by her dogs. Longer story short - we brought her in. She has been so so sweet so far (I know she's a tiny baby and still has a chance to be wild) - but I feel like maybe she picked us for a reason. She purrs as soon as you pick her up and LOVES the girls. She seems so thankful to have a place to be safe. The first night she was mean... growling, hissing and everything else. We didn't even take her out of her cage - but I think she was so afraid of everything after living in the desert for so long. Our neighbor across the street estimated her to be about 4 weeks old and it's a girl. The girls have named her "Lilly" - but we need Daddy to meet her when he gets home from CA.

She is a real snuggler

All Brynn wanted for her 6th Birthday was a kitty. Maybe this kitty heard her and decided to come early?!

So cute!

Brooky reading her a book

and today - Brynn was sick (AGAIN... with strep) and kitty snuggles were the best medicine for her.

The bowl is almost bigger than her!

Happy Memorial Day!

We had so much fun on Memorial Day - our cousins, Lindsey & Josh - Hannah and Owen came to play and they were here all day! We swam, drank, ate and had a grand ole time.

Love this pic of the girls - they still fit in their 4th of July outfits from 2 years ago!

Water balloon toss!

All of the girls just get along so well!

Owen was so excited to come to "Joey's house" - too cute! He's taking ISR swim classes (infant survival rescue) and it's amazing to watch him.

The boys in action

These boys were all about their trucks

and then there was a race around the house

While the princesses dressed up!

Anyone need a lifeguard?!

Water shooter fight!

and then they ended with a tea party at about 7pm! LOL  FUN DAY!

I'm almost caught up with the blog now! I have been thinking of this everyday because I don't like when I get behind. If you're like me, I'd be checking everyday so I'm sorry it's taken me so long. One more surprise post and then we're all caught up!

Our Little Man

Since this little man is not graduating yet (THX GOODNESS!!) - here's what he's up to... He  LOVES Special K - so funny because I've eaten that since I was little and these kids love it. Joey licks the bowl!

Happy, handsome boy!
He picks out his own snacks from the pantry. ALL. DAY. LONG.

and loves feeding Jack. He gets his food and says "GO!" - so cute!

Brooky's Last Day of Preschool (for now...)

Brooky's "party" at school - this was the day before her last day. She wanted to wear her new sparkly dress!
Part of Brooky's present to Ms. Becky!

Getting off the bus! She was so excited to show us everything she brought home!

They sang some of their favorite songs for the party - it was really cute.

Waiting in the snack line!

This is her last day at Mountain Shadows ... next year = Desert Sage & Ms. Linda (Great Expectations). She's excited!

Fun With Auntie!

Picking Brynn up on her last day - she was SO excited to see Auntie!!!

The day after graduation we hiked and swam... this is hiking "Brooky style!"  This girl cracks me up. She can be so challenging but she really is funny. We need the shades, the snacks and don't forget the purse. Oh man....

The crazy crew!

Have to stay hydrated!

The girls gave Auntie a lesson on the dessert. This saguaro is about to get flowers.

and don't get too close to these jumping cholla - unless you want prickers on you!

Our First Preschool Graduate!

This year went by so fast and I can only imagine that they go even faster from this point on... She was so excited to graduate!! She is just so thoughtful and really takes everything to heart. This was such a special day to her - I could tell.

Just a few of the gifts that she gave to Ms Linda

Love the cards that they make... see the apple that she put in her hand to give to Ms Linda?!

Graduation and Family Fun Night!

Ms. Linda shared 3 things about each student that stuck out to her... she said how caring and accepting Brynn is.  How she is her "go to" girl if someone else in the class was having a bad day - Brynn is always there to help them out! Also - she mentioned how hard working she is - and precise. She takes her time with everything to make sure it's exactly how she wants it to be! She's the best - that's it!

Go Brynn!!

A few of the happy graduates

So proud of her!

Brynn and Zavier... I don't know what it is about this boy but she LOVES him! LOL. She talks about the day when they will get married and then she's going to send her kids to Ms. Linda! Where do they get this??? I don't think I even wanted to be around boys until I was at least 10 or 11!

Love this picture. Ms. Linda is amazing!

Congratulations Brynn - we love you!

Auntie came out for the celebration. She surprised Brynn at school and it was the sweetest thing ever!
