Watch Out in 16 Years... Stay Off the Road!

Brynn's sleeping so Brooklyn always takes that opportunity to go after her toys... well, they're THEIR toys, but we're still working on that part!

She was loving the idea that she could push it around

"Ha! I got the steering wheel!!!"

7 Months and On The Go!

Brooklyn's like our little puppy. She crawls around with a chew toy in her mouth, always greets you at the door, and...

knows where the dog door is! Thankfully she hasn't mastered getting out quite yet!

This past Friday the 13th, she turned 7 months! Can't believe it. The little stinker would not sit still for her photo shoot. I remember Brynn sitting so nicely for her 7 month pictures but then I remembered that she hadn't started crawling yet. Brooklyn is off and running. I think this is the only one that I was able to get with her sitting - and that's out of A LOT of pictures! She wouldn't keep the 7 month sticker on either - she was way more interested in eating that!

There she goes!

Off again!

Once we got her up and walking, she was a happy camper!

Happy 7 months baby girl!!!

After all of that, it started pouring so what do you do when it rains in AZ?? Go out and run around!

Our Little Monkey

Brynn's 23 Months! How Did That Happen?!?!

She won't really pose for pictures anymore so we just have to catch her in action - although it looks like she's posing here and saying, "Come on Mom - enough!"

Yes - we do make sure she has plenty to drink throughout the day, but...

and just like that, all of a sudden she started saying CHEESE every time I wanted to take a picture!

Such a character she is!

Since her birthday is only one month away we practiced blowing out candles - it was so cute. She was so dainty like at first, blowing real softly - then after about 10 blows, she got the hang of it! Here she's staring the thing down thinking maybe that will work - haha!

Yea - she got it!!

Time to dig in... she loves tiramisu!

Happy Weather = Happy 4th!

For the first time in 100 years, it was under 100 degrees on the 4th of July!! It even rained (& to me felt cold at times but I know I'm crazy like that!) but it was SOOOOOOOOOOO nice for a change! We had planned to have a pool party at Auntie Janice's and we weren't going to let the clouds and rain ruin our day! Here's Chef Bryce tending to the grill...

Brynn was in charge of the condiments

and Brooklyn was the lifeguard!

Check out the rain drops! So crazy - it was actually warmer in the pool than outside.

Daddy and Brynn

Look - she's swimming! She had her floaties on and wandered off the step all by herself!

I think she surprised herself that she could actually do it!

Time for dessert! YUM!!

and we learned that Brynn LOVES whip cream! She wanted the whole can.

What happened to our lifeguard?!

After a quick cat nap she was ready to go again. Had to get a picture of her all decked out in red, white & blue...

Brynn loves playing with Brooklyn now and really likes to hold her... although sometimes she doesn't realize her own strength. Brooklyn's a good sport with it all and here we were singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" together!

Happy 4th of July everyone! We love you!!

REALLY?!?!?!?!

Seriously?! She's too little still... How can she already be standing up in her crib?! What is going on? Time to lower the mattress Daddy. This is Brooklyn in a nutshell - happy one second...

and really pissed off the next. Oh Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn, what are we going to do with you?! Every time we think she's getting a little better with the fussiness, sleeping, etc... it feels like we take 5 steps backwards. I'm hoping this is just another stage to get through and we can blame it on teething, getting over her 1st cold, growing, something - and it won't be like this forever because if it is, Daddy and I are going to end up drooling with bibs on ourselves! Ugh - she is definitely teaching us about patience but in the meantime, our bodies are falling apart and we're exhausted! Ok - enough venting. We love her to pieces and she's such a happy baby when she's happy, but when she's not - watch out! Next post she'll probably be walking & we'll be sending her info to the Guinness Book of World Records for the youngest walker. This girl is a firecracker... where did her personality come from???

Sister Love

Brooklyn's happy! and thank you Auntie Janice for the cutest suits around!!!
