She got to pick out a pencil and she chose pink to match her outfit! She was very happy! Today was one of her more well behaved days and she asked me if I was proud of her since she ate all of her lunch. I told her I was SO proud of her and she's been such a good girl today as well. I said that I was going to miss her a lot when she goes to kindergarten and here's what she said...
"MOM, it's going to be ok. When I go to school our house is just right down the street. Maybe the school will give me special glasses so I can see what you're doing at home". Then she said "Wait - I have a surprise for you!" and ran to go get something. She was hiding something behind her back when she got back and then said "Mom - when I go to kindergarten you will always be in my heart!" ... and then she stretched her arms out in front wide with 2 big hearts!
This girl - she cracks me up and makes me cry. She's sugar and spice... a little bit naughty and a lot of nice! The entire time she was saying this stuff to me she also had a smirky little grin on her face! Lol... yes I'm sure she has something planned for later and she was buttering me up some. |
