The Wheels On the Bus...

The day is finally here! Brooky has been waiting for this day for a long time - it's BUS DAY!!!! The bus picks her up at 8:40am right at our house. Here's a big good luck hug from her big sister before we headed outside!

Waiting for the bus... this is very exciting!

Here it comes! Brooky was jumping up and down!

I wanted to get a picture of her in front of the bus but once the bus actually got to us I think it freaked her out a bit. It was very big and really loud so she turned around and started walking to the house! I got her and she went on the bus no problem - but was not into a picture. Her drivers name in the morning is Ms Julie and Vanessa is the helper. She'll be on the bus with 3 other little boys.

She's home!!! Mr Steve is the driver in the afternoon and I didn't have a drop off time yet but was estimating around 12:15 or so... I ended up calling at 12:35pm when she wasn't home yet because I was starting to get worried since it was the first day and all - well Mr. Steve was 2 minutes away so all was good. Her drop off time will be 12:40pm. They said she did great and she actually fell asleep on the bus! He said most of them do - too cute!
She was much more pleasant in the afternoon than she usually is so I'm liking the cat nap on the bus! We were waiting outside with our neighbors to greet her - I guess seeing a school bus in the neighborhood is exciting for all because we were popular people today!

Big school girl! So cute! She couldn't wait to show me her backpack and take out the eggs that Ms. Becky gave her... they were filled with Brooky's favorite - CANDY!!

Here she is showing off her eggs

and trying to hide under the slide so she could eat ALL of her candy!

She came home with a bunch of crafts she had worked on (I'm guessing throughout the week). I think I'll need to start a special area in the garage for all of their artwork because I know I'm going to love it all! Sorry Bryce!! :)

When I asked her what she did in school today, the only thing I got out of her was that Ms Becky was the bunny and said "surprise" and they got eggs! Haha. Not sure if that's true but it sounds fun to me! All that I know is she's loving school. This girl who we have to fight with to keep clothes on actually changed her outfit this afternoon and wanted to go back to school right then. She even went to bed with her sneakers on! THAT is a first - she never wears shoes! I think this preschool routine is going to be great for her and all of us too.
