| So today is Dad's birthday and to honor him and celebrate his wonderful life, we went out and got balloons to send up to him in heaven. The girls each got to pick out 2 colors... and I picked out 2 for Bryce and I. |

| When we got home we spent some time decorating our balloons and talking about Pop Pop. We covered them with stickers showing many of his favorite things... birds, dogs, deer, ducks, squirrels (I know deep down he loved the squirrels!) - pretty much all nature stickers. This was a lot of fun and was really nice talking about him with the girls. |

| Then at 11:11am, - his birthday time and right about the time Mom, Col & Kristin were going to be at the cemetary, we went outside to send the balloons up to Pop Pop. Brynn wanted me to help her to let go of hers... she wasn't so sure what to expect (they had 3 extra balloons inside for them to play with later). |

| Call me crazy, but ever since Dad passed away I've been finding hearts in my food! It may be just coincidence, or maybe I just never noticed them before, but it sure is comforting and I love it. Here's a heart in our chicken enchiladas! |

| and just today while I was making lunch for the girls and peeling their apple, one showed up!!! It makes me smile because things like this just don't happen by coincidence. I know he's with us and I love that he gives us little signs all the time. I love you Dad and we miss you every second of every day! Happy Birthday!! xoxo |
