| It was a beautiful day today (well, beautiful for us out here - high of about 95) so we decided to go to the zoo since most likely it will be the last time we'll be able to enjoy some time outside for a while! Thankfully, not too many people thought about going to the zoo on Memorial Day - it was perfect! Even Brooklyn slept... |

| Brynn fed the giraffe's this time! She wasn't afraid one bit, she loved it. |

| Next we were off to Monkey Village. There were a bunch of them out and running about today... |

| Not the case with the orangutan's... we saw 2 of them but they weren't performing like they usually do. This guy is the only one who I could get my picture with today. |

| Before we left, Brynn wanted to ride on the carousel. We weren't so sure because usually she wants to get off in the middle of the ride, but this time she did a little better. |

| She still wasn't thrilled - and she looks a little freaked out here! - but overall she did much better this time than our last experience. It's all about baby steps! |
