Backyard Makeover!

Our backyard has a ton of river rock - outlining everything! We want to take all of this out and put more grass  so there's more room to play... A friend of ours just moved in to a new house and they're looking for rock. PERFECT! They came over last weekend to start loading it up - and brought the little ones to put them to work.

Good job Brynn! It was funny because Robin's girls are definitely more into the manual labor outside... Brynn had her sparkle silver shoes on and wanted to take a turn with the wheelbarrow but then I heard her say, "Little Betsy, you can do it next time, my hands hurt!" Haha... Brooky slept through the whole project. I'm sure that was planned!

Time to get more rocks! I just realized that I haven't posted pics of our new house yet! I will do that in the next day or so and get them on here so everyone can see. We are finally feeling sort of settled which feels great!

Happy October!

Operation Halloween has started... at least inside. We'll wait to surprise the new neighbors with our outside display for another week or so!

35 Weeks!

So I wasn't sure if we were going to get professional maternity pics done this time or not... we decided to spend the money on newborn pictures instead and we hired Bryce to take a few pics on Friday - 35 Weeks!!! It's almost time, it has gone by so quickly. I guess it didn't help that we've been so busy this summer! We're ready to meet this little guy though.

Two goofy sisters... this was the best picture we could get with this idea I had. Either the blocks were falling or the girls were crying! You definitely do get your money's worth when you hire a professional! Bryce was a close second though!

Let's Ride Bikes!

The week of September 15th, Brooky just hopped on her bike and took off! Now she can't be stopped. It's so fun for the girls to be able to ride together! Looks like Bryce and I need bikes and a baby seat and then we can all go out for adventures together!

Little Miss Sunshine!

So - no more markers in the Johnson house... time to switch back to crayons. Little Miss Sunshine decided to color her face with a non washable marker. At least she chose yellow! She's glowing and proud!
