Will You Be My Valentine?!

We had a Valentine play date yesterday with our little friends, Betsy and Penny - and their Mommy Robin of course! The girls were busy making Valentines and Brynn wouldn't let us forget that we needed to make cookies too!

We had a great time playing. This picture cracks me up because Brooky used to beat up on Penny not too long ago. Now she is very loving towards her but check out this passionate hug! You can tell the strength of her squeeze by the look on her face!

We met up with our friends today at the Wildlife World Zoo. I'll be honest - I was nervous because it's a bit of a drive out there but the girls did great and we all had fun! Brynn, Brooklyn & Andie...

A Very Special Visitor!

So after many times of trying to chase down the Ice Cream Truck with Auntie - it FINALLY came right to our house last weekend!! The 2 girls that drive the truck said they'll be back every weekend so we no longer have to tell the girls that the ice cream truck drops the ice cream off at the store if it doesn't come right to your house. They were so excited!

Bryce looks even more excited in this picture than the girls were!

A Few Pictures of Our Week

Yes, she's outside with bare feet and short sleeves! It's been so warm out here (not rubbing it in!) so we've been playing outside a lot. They love their new slide!

This is what happens when you give Brooklyn a piece of paper and markers. She draws her own smiley face!

and Brooklyn could probably eat 4 or 5 whole cucumbers at lunch if I let her... this is how she eats them. One bite out of each one. She finishes them before I have a chance to cut up more!

They love each other so much! I hope they never stop hugging each other!

In the past 2 nights, we've had one girl literally glowing blue from a glow stick... (can you guess who that was?). We shouldn't have been laughing but it was pretty funny when Bryce and I asked each other if we thought she ate any of it, we both said "turn off the lights" and then told her to "open her mouth and say ahhhh!" Haha, we were cracking up. and luckily she didn't eat any of it! She's a nut.

And then last night, we found Brynn like this! PUZZLE OVERLOAD!

Martin Luther King JR Day!

We celebrated Martin Luther King JR Day with one of our playgroups and had lots of fun (even though you can't really tell by the look on Brooky's face in this one!) We read a book, made special necklaces & did a little experiment with a white and brown egg so the kids could see that we're all the same on the inside even though we all look different on the outside.
