I Have Another Helper

And it has started! Brooklyn loves to help unload the washer and dryer... even if they're clean, everything goes on the floor!

She loves the dishwasher too!

2 Years Old and Doing GREAT!

We took Brynn to the doctor today for her 2 year checkup. She was so brave and did great. Dr. Nemivant was really impressed to hear she was doing so well with potty training! She has many days now where she stays dry all day and she already has 6 pairs of panties! We asked about her still not really talking and he didn't seem too concerned since she follows all of our commands (or at least understands them... actually doing them can be a challenge somedays!) We told her she has really been trying a lot more lately and says "bus", "please", sometimes ice - but bus, by far, is her favorite. Still wish she would say Mommy or Daddy but we'll get there. Guess we'll mark down in her baby book that her first word was BUS! Haha. He told us not to worry and if at 2 1/2 she is still not talking, we can go to speech therapy with her.  Look at her hair! We can't believe how long it is and it's soooooo soft, lucky girl!

She weighed in at 30 pounds (85th percentile) and she's 37 1/4 inches tall!! (that's off the charts and 105%!) She got one shot today and didn't even cry!! We celebrated with an icy pop when we got home and she let me take a picture of her with her band aid! SO BRAVE.

Brooklyn's Always Accomplishing New Things on Her Month Birthday!

Brooklyn started LOVING her puffs today! She couldn't get enough. She's tried them before but today was the first day that she liked them and was chomping on them like a hamburger! (Her teeth have really been bugging her so they probably felt good on her gums, poor little girl)

Uh oh... we're getting close now! She started crawling on her 6 month birthday and starts using the walker on her 8 month... what's next?!

Being 8 is Great (Months that is!)

8 months today! So happy because it's almost time for lunch!

Hip Hip Hooray!! Daddy was lifting her up in the air and she loved it!

Finally found a way to keep the sticker on her for a second! Haha

Happy Birthday to Our Beautiful Brynn!

We hung streamers in her doorway so she'd have a big surprise when she woke up...

We started the day off with some baby pancakes - her favorite

Then presents! Auntie Allison & Auntie Jess got her a lollipop drum just like they have at the library. She was so excited! Now we have a little drummer!

Then we took a break and went outside to get wet. 

She loved it!

Then back inside for more presents. Daddy only worked a few hours this morning so he could enjoy her birthday so we waited to do the presents until he got home. She LOVED the legos too!

So happy!

She even ran over to give me a big hug and kiss, made my day! Daddy got one too but we didn't get it on camera in time.

Then she got a comb and brush set from Grammy & Pop Pop. She knew exactly what to do. Maybe Mommy can get her brush back now!

There were record breaking temperatures on her birthday - ugh - so what better way to end the day but cooling off with some frozen yogurt at Yogurtini!!!

Even more presents! This one is from Auntie Mare. It's a treasure box that plays music and the horse twirls around - she was in heaven! There was money in there too so the first thing she did was run to get her piggy bank!

She always remembers to take care of her sister. Here she's singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider to her! Such a sweet girl. I can't believe she's 2. It's gone by so fast and it feels like just yesterday when we heard her cry for the first time in the hospital. These last 2 years have been the best years of my life so far - Bryce's too! Brynn had the best time on her birthday! Thanks to everyone for making it so special, we love all of you!

A Fun Day...

The day before Brynn's birthday we took the opportunity to stay at home and relax, recuperate, whatever you want to call it! The cactus bloomed early in the morning (4th or 5th time this summer!)

We turn our backs for a second and Brynn must have put her bubble solution in the fountain! Bubbles, bubbles everywhere - she thought it was great!

This suitcase was filled with goodies from Auntie Colleen - Brooklyn wasn't letting anyone near it!

The Goodwill Queen is Here SO.....

We took a trip to Goodwill of course! Brynn was in her glory playing with all the cool toys that she doesn't have at home and making as much noise in the Goodwill store as she could (with the motorized cars, poppers, etc...)

Here's Auntie Col showing her how to use the sit & spin. We got this for her but we put it away for Christmas. First gift of the season!

Here she is yacking on the phone with her popper. We HAD to get the popper, she's been waiting for one of these for a while - but for $2.99 it was a good purchase!

She was really attached to this bear but we were able to put him back on one of the shelves before leaving. We don't need another stuffed animal!

Brooklyn could care less - she caught up on some sleep and walked away with a new shirt and a pair of pants!
