Happy 2 Month Birthday Brynn!

Brynn had her 2 month appointment on Friday October 8th and the doctor said she is a perfectly healthy baby girl! She weighs 11 pounds, 15 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long! Hard to believe she's already grown 3 1/2 inches and gained over 4 pounds since she was born. Our little girl is growing so fast! It was a bummer we had to celebrate her 2 month birthday with shots, but she was so brave and only cried a little bit. Brynn is smiling all the time now and is starting to recognize her voice. She sounds so cute, we just can't get enough of her talking! I'm sure there will come a time when we'll be asking her to be quiet, but for now we're loving it! She no longer sleeps in her bassinet and has graduated to the lower bed in her pack and play. She eats every 2-3 hours during the day and had been sleeping through the night for the most part up until a few days ago. For the past few nights, she's been waking up 1-2 times to eat... probably because she's growing again! She is such a good baby, very laid back and easy going. We are so lucky and blessed and can't wait for all of you to meet her!

Tummy Time!

I'm pretty sure Brynn is getting ready to roll over sometime soon, so we've been practicing with some tummy time so when it does happen she won't be too freaked out!

Smiles from Rainbow Bridge!

An amazing thing happened on Tuesday. The vet called me to let me know that Maddy's ashes were in & I could feel my emotions starting up again. Then, within an hour of the call, Bryce called in to me to let me know that there was a rainbow outside. I was feeding Brynn at the time & made it outside within a couple of minutes, but the rainbow had disappeared. Bryce had taken pictures but I really wanted to see it in person. I stood outside and asked to see another one and within seconds, the most beautiful DOUBLE rainbow I've ever seen appeared! It was SO bright & complete with every color. You could see the beginning and the end - it was magical... I couldn't stop staring at it and I know that was our Maddy smiling down at us and letting us know that she is ok and happy! Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I'm All Smiles!

After one of the most challenging weeks I've had in a LONG time, maybe even ever, we're coming to the end. The A/C should be fixed today and hopefully life can start getting back to normal. I'm so lucky to be blessed with such wonderful family and friends, Bryce who is amazing, and the best baby in the whole world - whose smiles and laughs melt my heart and can't help but cheer me up! All of you have helped me get through all of the sadness and difficult days... Thank you!
Here's a gallery of my cute smiling face and even a few videos too to help keep all of you happy too! ENJOY! I love you! XOXO
Every once in a while I have to stick my tongue out to get my Mommy to stop taking pictures! It works... sometimes!
