A Nana and Papa Photoshoot

We did do a little practice photoshoot to see if we could get some good shots for them to take home and for me to get some more practice in with my camera. It was fun - and I learned a lot!

Nana and Papa Come to Visit!

Nana and Papa came to visit in February and we had lots of fun!

There were lots of tickle fights

and jumping on Papa!

The girls love to mess with him...

Our crazy crew...

I didn't take too many pictures this time - but the girls were really busy doing fun things with Nana and Papa so they have more pics on their camera. They went to the Renaissance Festival, The Butterfly Wonderland, farmers Markets and lots more! Thanks so much for coming and all you do - we love you and miss you! XOXO

Big Boy Haircut!

February 22nd... it was time for Joey's 2nd haircut! I always hesitate because it completely changes their looks and I'm not used to having boys yet so this is all new! LOL... (I'm slow to change!) - but now that I see how adorable he looks, I should have scheduled his haircut sooner - poor kid!

Watch out ladies! This guy is going to be in high demand! He's soooooo cute!

and here's a few shots of the "boot" in action...

A boy ad his dog. He LOVES Jack.

Good thing Jack is a good sport - he hurdles over him all day long!
I thought this shirt was fitting for him! "Hello, My Name is Trouble!" The boot doesn't seem to be holding him back any. In fact, he seems to always find a way to take it off. I've spoken with the doctors and they feel that if he's standing on it without any pain, that he should be fine and we'll bring him in next Friday for final x-rays. I still try to put the boot on when I can throughout the day...

My Poor Baby...

Heartbreaking... Brynn had her Valentine's Day party at a park today (Feb 11th) and all was going really well until we were about to leave and one of Brynn's little friends wanted to go down the slide with Joey. I didn't think anything of it - he's been down the slide before with Brooky - but this time he had his sneaker on. I was holding on to them on the baby slide but when they got to the curve, his foot got stuck and he fractured his tibia. I felt SO bad :(

He had his splint on for a week (which he managed to take off at least 3x a day!) and the following Friday he got his little boot. Hoping he recovers quickly and is as good as new!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Getting a group shot for Valentine's Day was not an easy task... but I did get a few individual ones!

"Hey Ladies... See my teeth?!" He loves showing his teeth! He even has a molar already! They just all came at once.

This was the best I could get for 2016... try again next year!

Hey Tooth Fairy... I hope you're ready!!

February 9th, 2016 - My baby lost her first tooth!!! I'm not going to lie, this was really emotional for me! Ha - not sure why.. but I was not expecting this to happen so soon! And - her tooth was only loose for 2 days so I didn't even have time to prepare! She just told us Sunday that she had a loose tooth. I'm happy for her though, she couldn't be more excited!!

She had a swollen eye in this picture... I had to pick her up from preschool early today because Miss Linda thought she might have pink eye. I think what actually happened was that one of the kids had a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and Brynn came in contact with it. We had a similar experience at home one time. It went away by that evening.

Our new toothless grin

She's ready - bring on the Tooth Fairy!

Calling Daddy the next morning after the Tooth Fairy came to let him know she got $5!!

A Crazy, Busy Month!

Cowboy Day at Brynn's school - Feb 4th. This day was so much fun as Miss Linda had filled us in that this is usually the favorite day for the kids! She did not disappoint...

The cutest little cowboys and cowgirls!

Panning for gold. They had to get gold nuggets to do all the activities that were planned... even eating lunch!

Shaving - cowboy style!

They all ate a cowboy lunch around the campfire!

Even Joey... he ate the goldfish he caught!

Here come the smores!

Giddy up Horsey!

One more shave! Such a fun day!
