A Random Assortment...

Our cute little man - always so happy!

Do you think this one might have gotten into the blueberry muffins?!

Joey sporting one of his new bibs that Grammy made. He's ready for a night on the town with these!

Brooky loves her baby!

Every so often, Brooky sneaks into Brynn's room and climbs in bed with her. So sweet!

Joey has started sleeping in his crib!

and these two goofballs have so much fun together!

Here they are riding "Sparky" around and around and around!

And the day is not complete without a picnic lunch on the trampoline!

An AMAZING Makeover!

We have a new backyard! This is the old one the night before...

The trucks arrived early the next morning

and the girls had a front row seat!

In no time at all, they had the backyard dug up and ready for the transformation

Then we moved up to the balcony and had a picnic while we watched the men work!

Digging to install the drainage

Getting everything ready to lay the grass

End of the first day... we weren't sure what to think because we were under the impression that the grass was coming right up to the walkway, but in the end - we're happy that they had a different vision. You'll see!

Back at it - Day #2

Here comes the grass! I know it seems funny to roll out the grass like a piece of carpet and nail it down but out here, it just makes sense. We won't have to water, it will always be green and when we're old I won't have to bug Bryce to get the mower going and get to work! and it's so soft - we love it!

Final result - we love it! It makes the yard look so much bigger!

They moved the trampoline over to the side of the house where it's usually shaded and incorporated the small piece of grass that was leftover. The girls are happy!

Would You Rather...

Live here? ...

Or here?! (sorry Grammy!)

We are in the process of getting our backyard redone - they will finish tomorrow. It looks SO GOOD! We love it... we have green grass now and lots of plants and trees!!! Will post finished product tomorrow.

Brooky's 1st People Drawing - ME!

Brooky drew her first person today and said it was me getting mad! Haha - Hope I look a little better than that in real life but she did a good job and was so proud! She's also a puzzle pro lately - check out one of her puzzles behind her! Getting big!

4 Months!!

4 months already! We went to the doctor today and he weighed in at 15 pounds (Brynn was 16  1/2 pounds at this age and Brooky was 14 1/2 pounds - so he's right in the middle!). He's only about 24 inches long though - 12%... the girls had about 2 inches on him. He'll grow I'm sure! He's the sweetest little guy ever. He loves to snuggle, he's SO good, he goes to bed by 7:30 and he sleeps til usually 4:30am or so... he smiles all the time, LOVES his sisters and always laughs at Brooky (she makes everyone laugh!) and just has a really sweet disposition. I can't get enough of him! He grabs his toys but really has no interest in trying to roll over or lay on his belly. Why should he when he has 2 big sisters to do everything for him?! Doctor said he's doing great and he'll get to start eating at 6 months, that will be exciting!

Spreading Happiness...

We went hiking a couple Sunday's ago and decorated some rocks to leave for others to find on the trail. The girls were really excited about doing this.

They were also excited to follow their map and show Daddy where to go since he had never been on this trail before!

Brynn left the first rock - BE HAPPY

Brooky checking out her map to make sure we're going the right way! Whatever way is Brooky's way is the right way!

Our first selfie! Joey's in there too - you just can't see him :)

The last rock - SMILE everyone!

Brooky and her shades again - upside down today!

Nana and Papa's Visit

We had lots of fun when Nana and Papa came to visit! Here's Joey laughing at his Papa

The girls beat up on Papa every day - especially Brynn. She had a blast doing this!

Right around Valentine's Day there were so many balloons flying around our house! Many of them got so low as well. It was really pretty.

Getting ready to go to the Farm at South Mountain for a picnic.

Beautiful day!

Brooky rocking her shades!

After lunch, we walked around looking at their garden and the rest of the property.

I love all the flowers!

The cutest little boy around!

Our future photographer!

We walked to "Top That" - a frozen yogurt place right down the street. That's gonna be dangerous!

"Did I miss any?!"

Nana and the kids!

Thanks for coming to visit! We had so much fun and can't wait to see you again!
