A Fun Day...

The day before Brynn's birthday we took the opportunity to stay at home and relax, recuperate, whatever you want to call it! The cactus bloomed early in the morning (4th or 5th time this summer!)

Super Baby!

Col trying to hold Miss Brynn down for a picture... they're not easy these days!

We turn our backs for a second and Brynn must have put her bubble solution in the fountain! Bubbles, bubbles everywhere - she thought it was great!

Love the hairdo!

This suitcase was filled with goodies from Auntie Colleen - Brooklyn wasn't letting anyone near it!

The Goodwill Queen is Here SO.....

We took a trip to Goodwill of course! Brynn was in her glory playing with all the cool toys that she doesn't have at home and making as much noise in the Goodwill store as she could (with the motorized cars, poppers, etc...)

Here's Auntie Col showing her how to use the sit & spin. We got this for her but we put it away for Christmas. First gift of the season!

Here she is yacking on the phone with her popper. We HAD to get the popper, she's been waiting for one of these for a while - but for $2.99 it was a good purchase!

Hmmm... anything good?

She was really attached to this bear but we were able to put him back on one of the shelves before leaving. We don't need another stuffed animal!

Brooklyn could care less - she caught up on some sleep and walked away with a new shirt and a pair of pants!

Time to Swim!

Monday night we packed up and headed down to Auntie Janice's to cool off in the pool. The girls love the water and we had a blast!

She's floating all by herself!

Our view... not too shabby.

Our chef, he did a pretty good job :)

Brynn's addicted to cupcakes so that's what she's pointing at here with a look like she's not giving up.

Ok after a few more bites of hot dog and green beans, we let her celebrate (again) with a cupcake - well basically the icing is what she's after! Thanks for having us over!!!

Come and Play... it's Brynn's 2nd Birthday!!

Her Birthday Party day started with a "baby pancake" breakfast with Grammy at her new table and chair set! She was so excited when Bryce brought the table out for her. The look on her face was priceless!

She wanted Daddy to sit at the table too and when he did, she thought that was the funniest thing!

It's almost party time! Mommy and Grammy were running around like chickens with their heads cut off the morning of the party trying to get everything ready. Daddy had gone down to the airport to pick up Auntie Colleen who had flown in for Brynn's big day.

The Elmo goody bags for the kiddos!

Mmmmm - desserts!
We had everyone write Brynn a little something in the Elmo book so she can look back when she's older and read about all the fun she had at her 2nd birthday party. Don't worry, those who weren't here - we'll have you sign it the next time we see you! xo

11am and the guests started arriving. Brynn was SO excited when she saw that her friends were actually at her house!! It was the cutest thing. She greeted everyone with a big hug! This is her friend Mia from the library and the gymnastics place that we go and play at.

Here's Riley!

Some of the party guests. We ended up with about 15 adults and 10 kids! It was a blast.

Even though it was hot, the weather cooperated for just a little bit and stayed pretty cloudy during the party. We moved everyone outside for a bit before lunch to play a treasure digging game in the sandbox and they all LOVED the water tables!

Brynn and Mason digging for treasures

We had a pizza lunch and then cupcakes of course! She blew her candle out on the very first try... all the practicing payed off!

Some of Brynn's friends - too cute! There's Mason, Savannah & Mia

Savannah needs a bath!

Then we opened presents - and there were LOTS of them! Notice Brynn has started to strip. Bye bye tutu! (thankfully she waited until everyone left to completely undress. We found her outside nude as a noodle wearing Grammy's crocks! Crazy girl)

Time to give hugs goodbye. This is Mason - Brynn looks like she's taking charge!

Bye Mia! Thanks for coming to my party!

Here's Mr Ed - her new riding horse from Auntie Colleen! Can you believe she carried this on board, along with a dirt devil play vacuum cleaner (that looks real and almost full size), and stored them in the overhead compartment!?!?!!!

Brynn had so much fun at her party - I'd say it was a big success!

Leave Me Alone!!!

These girls definitely love each other but they do have their moments... Miss Brooklyn wants to be like Brynn so badly, but at times Brynn is not ready for her feisty attitude. Here, Brynn is getting attacked by Brooklyn and not sure what to think about it.

Brynn wasn't really enjoying herself too much but Brooklyn had a case of the giggles and was having a great time! It was too funny to watch - gotta love sibling rivalry!

Catching Up on Some Reading...

I'm sure she won't be happy about this picture once she's older, but couldn't help but get the camera. Here they are catching up on all of their July magazines before we get the new ones for the month! Haha - Happy August... 8 more days and Brynn's 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Night Out at Sam's Club!

We all went shopping at Sam's together... we can all go now since we got the bigger car and the girls love riding in the cart together! So fun.
