More Bath Time Fun

Brooklyn's all ready for her first swim in a pool!! We're going to Auntie Janice's today... just waiting for Brynn to wake up from her nap.

She's so excited, can hardly wait! Lookin good in that suit baby girl!

Remember little Brynn in that bathing suit? She was 8 months here so 2 months older than Brooklyn. So cute!

The girls had a blast in the pool. Auntie Janice bought floaties for Brynn so she was having fun playing around with them!

Giving Auntie Janice a big smooch before we had to leave. Thanks for having us over, we had a blast! AND... both girls are asleep by 8:30pm so I'm going to bed as well!!

I Can Do It By Myself... well, almost!

Dinner time gets pretty hectic so when if Mom can't get to me fast enough, I've figured out how to take care of myself. I just can't seem to get the milk out but I'm working on it!

I'm going to keep trying!

"JUMPING" into 22 Months!

In just 2 short months from today, this girl will be having her 2nd birthday! So hard to believe... Since today was her special 22 month birthday day, we went to her favorite place. Desert Tumbling! We met up with some friends and she had a blast as usual. Here she is in the foam pit with her friend Savannah.

Imagination Avenue

The girls were a little stir crazy today so we took a trip to Imagination Avenue for some fun play time. Brynn was in her glory... there were little rooms set up with different themes (kitchen, fire station, bakery, convenient store, doctors office and even a jail!). She headed straight for the kitchen and was checking out what that other girl was doing with the baby in the high chair.

After the other girl took off, Brynn started cooking.

Glad she remembered to use the hot pad!

Time to take a trip out on the "street" with the shopping cart! She loved pushing all the carts and strollers that they had.

It didn't take her long to find the jail which was extra fun because you had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get up there!

I hope she's not stuck!

Last but not least, she enjoyed a little snack in the kitchen! (I have to mention that Brooklyn was as good as gold  for the entire 2 hours we were there! Everyone was commenting on what a happy baby she is because she couldn't stop smiling, laughing and pulling my hair! The little stinker - one of my reasons for bringing them there was because I thought that she would have fallen asleep in her pack since she had been up since 5:15am!!! I was wrong I guess!)

Reaching More Milestones...

Look at Brooklyn! She sits like a pro... she takes a nose dive from time to time but she's doing pretty well!

I must have been looking pretty scary this day judging from the look on both of their faces!

Brooklyn loves to suck on her toes so now that she's sitting, it's much easier to grab them.

She's almost crawling and this face shows you how badly she wants to move!

She still loves to ride on top of your shins... - she also likes to take her diaper off now while you're trying to dress her. I think she's going to be the comedian in the family!

And to top it all off... she received her first comment on her mullet today!!! Both of our girls were born with full blown mullets - where did that come from?!
