Today's the Day! Happy Birthday Brooklyn Jean!!

On December 13, 2011 at 12:09pm my sister Brooklyn Jean decided to come and meet us! She wasn't too happy when she had to get weighed, but things got better quickly... She smiled when she met our Mommy for the first time... and she really liked it when she got her new Christmas hat! I went to the hospital with Nana & Papa early the next morning and I was so excited to meet my sister! I love her so much. Little Brooklyn Jean... she is so tiny! Our new family of 4! I know where her mouth is, her eyes, ears, hair and everything! I can't wait to bring her home...

I'm Celebrating 16 Months the Right Way - Making COOKIES!!!

Mom & Nana gave me a quick crash course on Christmas cookie cutouts. First we roll the dough and then we press the cookie cutters down in the dough. I added one extra step and pressed my fingers in the middle of each cookie...

Transfer the cookie to the tray...

Pat it down... (an extra step I added as well)

Sprinkles! Do I put these on the cookies or right in my mouth?

I dipped them right in the icing! Seemed to work well until my sprinkle shaker got clogged...

I couldn't wait to lick the plate. Didn't want to waste a bit of these delicious things!

Nana & Papa Come to Visit

My Nana & Papa arrived late last Friday night to help with my new sister BUT, she's not here yet so I'm keeping them busy helping with ME!! We went to the park the other day to try to get her ready to come out...

Yep - I see that slide and I'm heading down!

Then when we got back it was time to dance once again. First by myself...

At night I like to sit on the couch with my Papa and play with his teeny tiny computer - it's just my size. One of these times when he's not looking I'm going to hide it in my tent!

I'm Waiting... Where's My Sister?!

Ok, I was told she was coming to visit around the 7th which already came and went. Where are you?!?!?! I started to take things into my own hands and did the "Baby Dance"

Spinning! Come and play with me SOON!

I even started putting the snowflakes back on the tree in case that's what she is waiting for!

Oh - and I tried out her new seat. Had to make sure it was comfy enough for her! (IT IS!)

What Have I Been Up to Recently?

We've been trying to get the house ready for my new sister and my Nana & Papa's visit so I've been helping Mommy a lot. I'm really good at cleaning the windows.

Mom & Dad got new tupperware so I took all of the old ones and reorganized them - took me about an hour!

I helped Mom take the ornaments off the tree after she put them on...

and when I finally get a chance to rest, I love to look at my pictures on the photographer's website and listen to that song!

We went to Dona Sue & Bobo's for Turkey Day. The first thing I wanted to do was try some of that pumpkin pie! I opened my mouth nice and wide for that...

I'm thankful for my Mommy & Daddy, my family and friends, my soon to be new little sister, my puppies and kitty cat, all of my toys, my food, my brown bear, my Zzzzzzzzzzzz............... Night night!
