Just Some Funnies...

So Joey is really starting to get in to books these days. He loves to point everything out that he knows...

He also has started to pose for his pictures - and gives me the biggest smile! Finally one of our kids loves my camera!! Haha... (let's see how long it lasts!)

In addition to reading, he has really started to love to sweep. All.The.Time!

Silly boy

Every family has that kid that likes to hide under the table and steal every last marshmallow from the cereal box right?!?!?!?!!!! This one. Never a dull moment!

Brooky's New Look!

Here's the "new" Brooky! Haha - for weeks she has been begging to go to the eye doctor and get a pair of glasses. Like 20x a day. I got tired of hearing about it so we went to the Vision Center at Walmart yesterday and I bought myself some peace and quiet for $9! She LOVES her new glasses! Lol

She's a happy camper. She told me she's supposed to wear them all the time but then asked me if she should take them off when she goes swimming and to bed! She is too much.

It cracks me up every time I round the corner and I see her playing with her glasses on! I can see her in 20 years with those glasses, being some big shot power house lawyer not taking crap from ANYONE! Watch out world!

There was a cake honoring the great Grandma Larson - we miss her!

Jeff and Joey

Phil, Heather, Danny & Jimmy

The girls with 2 of their cousins, Lilly and Claire

Two cuties

Chickie and Jamie

The lake was surprisingly warm so the kids went swimming!

Aunt Maryann and Annabelle Rose

They're in the lake! Crazy girls

There was a giant mat out there ( it was anchored down so it wasn't going anywhere) and the kids had a blast!

There was a giant play mat with tons of toys so Joey loved hanging out here and playing

Aubrey and Brynn... a lot of people think that these 2 look a lot alike! Aubrey is 7 I think

Joey, Kristin & Jeff - reunited again!!

Aunt Marcia and her 5 boys!

The Larson siblings - (minus Uncle Dicky). Can't believe Grandma had 8 kids!

The 1st cousins... there are still a few missing here!

Mair and her gang

This is most of the Setters! Aunt Maryann sure made a big family for herself!

Finally - a picture of Grammy and all of her grandkids! This has never happened before!

and now there's 2 more great grandkids! I'd say Grammy is one lucky lady!

Mair and Dylan

Me with my first "babies"! I was so proud when I got to become an Auntie!

Getting ready for the piƱata - woohoo!

Go Brooky!

The crazy sisters! Heather (far left) is the youngest of the first cousins

Mair, Mom and I

The girls hugging Jobie goodbye! They didn't want to let him go! It was such a fun day and felt really nice to see everyone again and catch up - even if it was quickly. I mentioned before that we only saw the sun twice while we were away and this was one of them! Thank you God for a beautiful day full of sunshine, smiles and family!

Back at the airport watching our plane get ready to take off to AZ! We did it! 10 days away, stayed at 5 different places, 8 total hours in an airplane and 11 hours in a car! PHEW!!! It was really a great time and we love all of you!! Miss you already. XOXO

I still have a few pics to add from our adventures at our hotel (there was a waterpark inside!) - have to get them off my phone and then I'll post. Check back soon!

Cruisin the Streets of Duluth..

After the bridge, we dropped Grammy back off at the hotel and then went for another cruise through the streets of Duluth back down to Canal Park (by the bridge) for lunch - it was really close so that's good!

The streets were so cute!

Had to take this picture because this is where Grammy grew up! Well, not in the party store but her house was just to the left of it... 1708 London Rd. There was a big tree and then their house. The party store was the town market. Just two blocks behind their house is Lake Superior so she could see the oar boats from their back porch. She also told me that Grandpop built them their very own ice skating rink at the bottom of their yard! Lucky kids - all 8 of them!

Joey loves his Chickie!

We ate at Little Angela's - outside - in the rain - AGAIN!

Joey loved his slushy!

and this little place looked so cute! No time to stop but next time for sure!
