Brynn's 1st Day of Pre-K! (Great Expectations with Ms. Linda)

It's Brynn's 1st day of school today!!! The girls were so excited - neither one slept very well the night before because I think they were too excited for each other!

As soon as Brooky got on the bus, we got in the car and headed to Ms. Linda's... she teaches the preschool out of her house and she will have 9 kids in her class.

and there she is! Ms. Linda - she's so sweet!

All this school talk has gotten Joey in the mood too. This is how I found him the other day! Somehow he strapped Brynn's backpack on him! Not yet Buddy, not yet.

Day #2 for Brynn (she'll be going Tuesday and Thursday and maybe start Monday's in November)

It's almost like he knows exactly what he's saying! He does this every time you ask him a question!

This guy is so fun! He cracks himself up, giggles and makes us all smile!

and... he's starting to find his way into some trouble!

He did it! Found Jack's water and he was very proud!

Brooky's First Day of School!

August 10, 2015... she's been waiting for this day since the last day of school in May! She was up and asking if the bus was coming at 6am!

Grammy & Auntie Visit!

Grammy & Auntie flew out for a couple days to celebrate Brynn. I love this picture of Grammy & Joey!

My Little Pony Party Time!

Party day!! Bryan is definitely our birthday and holiday girl... she keeps a mental calendar in her head and knows exactly when a party is coming up! We started decorating a week early....

After everyone (all 21 kids!) arrived - we played "Applejacks Apple Toss"... just basically something to keep them focused so they weren't all running around the house!

Then we did a few presents while we waited for the pizza...

After pizza - CAKE! One of the best parts!

"Uncle Lance" brought party blowers for all - brilliant. LOL

This one had a new piece of cake every time you looked at her! Sneaky, sneaky...

At the end, we had a piñata. Each kid pulled a string until it opened up full of surprises!

I think everyone had lots of fun and Brynn was a happy camper!

Happy 5th Birthday Brynn!!

Can't believe it's been 5 years since Brynn made us a Mommy and Daddy. Time really does fly by... she is so thoughtful, kind and sweet (most of the time!) and is definitely her own little princess! She doesn't like to get dirty, gets hot very easily and her newest phrase is when we spend too much time in the car (anything over 15 minutes) - she gets "sea sick"! Also - don't ask her for help blowing up balloons because her response will be, "I don't want to waste any air". Oh Brynn - we love you!

We celebrated her birthday with a special pancake breakfast...

followed by some presents!

FROZEN LEGOS!!!

and then the "Griswolds" headed to the Ice Den for some ice skating in the desert - Brynn's wish! I forgot to mention she woke up on her birthday with a big surprise... Grammy and Auntie were here!!

The girls did GREAT on skates! It was nice to get bundled up in sweatshirts for once! Grammy did ok too - she couldn't last too long because the rental skates were not the comfiest of things. Unfortunately she wasn't able to show us any of her tricks from the old days this time...

Brooky used a walker too - although you can tell from this picture that she didn't really want to hold on to it... she wanted to be like the big kids in the middle!

Then Brynn graduated to holding Auntie's hands...

and by the end (2.5 hours later!) she was skating all by herself and loved it! She keeps asking "how many more days till we go back?!" and now when she grows up she wants to be an Ice Skater!

After skating we headed to Dunkin Donuts (another Brynn favorite) for a well deserved treat.

That night, she opened up a couple more presents...

My Little Ponies!!! Woohoo!! She had a great birthday day and tomorrow is the big MY LITTLE PONY party with all of her friends!!!

9 Months (I'm SO behind on the blog!!!)

Joey turned 9 months on August 3rd... I'm late posting this! He is the SWEETEST, best baby ever. He never makes a sound and is just content observing his world around him and watching his crazy sisters! He loves to eat everything and has taken a liking to "puffs" this month. He crawls (Joey style!... scooting around on his belly and using his big toes to push him around) all around... I don't think he'll start crawling the typical way because this way gets the job done and he's quick! He still wakes up twice during the night but he goes right back to sleep so I don't mind. Plus - he's so cute so that helps! LOL

He didn't have a typical well check appointment this month but we did see a specialist for a lump he's had in his groin area and he weighed in at 19 pounds! Thankfully the lump just turned out to be a reaction in his lymph node to his 6 month shots and nothing we need to worry about. Phew... I've been so worried. It may never go away, but doctor said not to worry.

We love this little boy so much - and everyone that meets him can't get enough of him either!!
