Look - It's SANTA!!

We went to Deer Valley Airport on a Saturday in December to watch Santa fly in on a helicopter! The girls had so much fun watching all of the planes take off and land. We'll have to go back sometime to have breakfast or lunch out on their patio... Can you see SANTA?!

He walked right out of the helicopter and came right up to Brynn and Brooklyn to say hello!

Brynn was so excited because we saw her friends, Sabanah & Finnigan (Bryce works with their Dad). It was a good thing they were there because they all kept each other company while we waited to see the big man.

Brooklyn kept herself occupied biting Daddy's head and...

being the goofy girl she is!

The people outside were cracking up at her because she was walking around like she owned the airport!

Once we finally got up to see Santa, Brooklyn wanted nothing to do with him and almost gave Santa a black eye! Brynn was just interested in getting a lollipop and was ready to get out of there as well!

She got what she wished for! Successful trip :)

I Always Wanted A Monkey!!

and now I have one! She just turned one and she wants to jump on top of her car... crazy girl. 

There was no stopping her and she was having a blast. Check out Brynn in the background who wasn't too happy about having to take turns.

A Fun Day...

We went to Daddy's work today to surprise him and bring doughnuts for everyone. Brynn was looking forward to it all morning and loved sitting in everyone's chairs. I think she was hired on the spot!

Then once we got home we played with the new birthday toys. Couldn't help but post these too because I just love Brooklyn's smile!!! I'm sure you're all smiling now too just looking at her - it's infectious!

Brynn needed a turn as well!

Love her fancy pants. Tonight we're off to ride a train, see Santa and look at all the lights!

"Hi - I Love You!"

Brooklyn's new tricks... she waves Hi and Bye, blows kisses and dances. Still have to get the dancing on video! Her real kisses either leave you soaking wet from a raspberry or with a bruised head from her head butts!

Cookie Time!!

We decided to make gingerbread men today... One of Brynn's favorite parts - licking the beaters!!

While Brooklyn was busy eating in the background (just one of her favorite things to do) Brynn got busy getting our surface ready to roll the dough. I had to keep my eye on her because at one point when I was getting things together for Brooke, I caught Brynn pushing all of the flour onto the floor...

Putting them on the tray. At some point during the transfer from the counter to the tray, the gingerbread men turned into globs of dough. Oh well, I guess it's not the "look" of your cookie, it's the taste that matters!

Brooklyn was just a happy camper during all of this as long as I kept food on her tray. I was afraid to let her join in on the cookie fun this year - next year I'll get her a big apron and let her at it!

Christmas Party Weekend!

Just had to add this picture in the mix because before we left for our first Christmas party this is where we found Jada. At first I was worried that something might be wrong but she was just taking a nap! ... in the flower pot!

Christmas Party #1 at Yoga Pura. I love the timer feature on our camera... we always seem to get the best pictures! Love this one!!

The girls had a blast at this one - running around, chasing the little dog (Hanuman) and Brynn was giving all of the little kids big hugs! So cute.

Day #2 - Christmas Party for Daddy's work, EII. This one is always so nice at the Desert Ridge Marriott. There were over 160 people there this year and I think everyone made comments on the girls and their dresses! They were pretty cute.

Christmas Party Marathon weekend is over and was lots of fun!

Christmas Party Play Date

We had some of our friends over for a Christmas Party Play Date the day after Brooklyn's birthday. 7 kids and 3 Moms... we had fun! Poor little Dawson was sitting in the car but Brooklyn stared him down until he gave up and let her move on in! It was almost like she was thinking... "we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but the car is mine!" You have to watch this girl when we have friends around, she's very rough. Her kisses are head butts, she loves to wrestle and pull hair too.

The morning flew by but we made sure that everyone got a chance to go down the roller coaster a few times before they left.

Birthday Girl!!

On the run!

Brooklyn had a great day on her birthday... we stayed home and played with all of her new toys and she even had more presents to open after Daddy came home from work! We were going to go look at Christmas lights, but it actually rained a bit on her birthday which is kind of funny because it doesn't rain often here, and it also rained a little bit while she was being born last year. The sun actually came out right when she was born! Maybe that's why her smile is something you can't resist... she's our little sunshine!

Big Sister Brynn got in the action with the toys and unwrapping her presents. Brooklyn wasn't too thrilled with that.

Time for more cake!!! (or apple pie with extra whip cream!) "Wow - Dad, is that for me?!"

She actually did try to blow out her candle... if blowing raspberries count!

Such a happy girl!!

If you look closely here, it looks like she has 2 front teeth! Haha - it's just whip cream. Funny though! She actually just got her FIRST tooth! It popped out either the day before her birthday or right on the actual day... her bottom right. 

She couldn't get enough - as you can tell from this picture!
