Shhh... It's a Surprise!

Party Day! ... Mom had been planning an open house at her house at 2pm for everyone to come and see us. Little does she know - this one is for her!

The train station before the event. This place is so neat. I also found out that my Nanny (my Dad's Mom) lived upstairs for a while! My Aunts and I'm sure my Dad as well had actually taken trains from here as well. Very cool.

It looked so cute inside and for $25 you can't beat it!

These were all reused from our wedding!

Perfect cake for the BINGO Queen!

There here! Everyone is ready with the camera!

Somehow we pulled it off... these girls were SO surprised! and when they saw that Aunt Maryanne, Leeann & Tammy drove from MN, that was a double surprise!

We pulled one over on Grammy!

It really was such a fun day catching up with everyone...

Love these people!

Time for cake! Lots of birthday gals... We had one Leeanne turning 50, Mom 75 and the twins 80!

The girls with Auntie

These 2 were a huge help with the party - not to mention, 2 of my favorite people!

I wanted a picture of the girls together but they were not cooperating. I love this one though!

The girls with Auntie Allison!

Mare with her 2 "babies"

"Big Betsy" and the girls (that's what they call her since we have a "Little Betsy" here in AZ!)

Since Mom had invited everyone to her open house later that day - everyone went back there as well! I was so shocked. I didn't think anyone would go since we had the birthday brunch, but they were all troopers and headed back there. It was so fun! So thankful to everyone who hung out with us that day - it was perfect!

Emily, Brian and Karen - with little Joey. Everyone loved him!

Happy Birthday Mom - we love you!

Wedding Day...

These trip pics are a little out of order but I'll get all of them on here eventually! This was Saturday before leaving for Lauren & Jeff's wedding. Handsome little guy!

The 2 flower girls with the bride and groom. This is a good picture but too light... I'm hoping I can fix it on my new editing program.

Headed to NJ...

On Thursday we drove up to NJ and stopped at Grammy's for a bit before heading to Betsy's. Joey got to meet Aunt Debbie and Aunt Marcia there - of course they LOVED him!

Brynn went around with buttercups to see who liked butter - we all did!

and the highlight?! The Ice Cream Truck!!! Always a favorite.

NJ Here We Come!

The girls looked like professionals pulling their suitcases through the airport!

Here they are in the elevator before our flight... all smiles!

They still had smiles once we landed. Well Joey had the biggest smile!

The girls were excited to see Auntie!

Auntie & Uncle Joe surprised the girls with a pirate pizza party on their boat that they're fixing up and renting throughout the summer. It's in a mud lot so won't be traveling anywhere but it's a nice place to escape and relax and even better that it's right up the street from their house!

The boat - really cute!
We walked to the end of the dock and sat out by the Delaware River watching the airplanes take off.

Arrrrr - pirate sisters!

Yes, we're crazy!

FOOD!

He had cereal on Cinco de Mayo and loved it and now we tried green beans (5/24) and he loved those too! He's so easy going, he'll probably love everything! (these posts are a little out of order but I'm way behind so I figured I'd post the easy ones first! ... NJ pics next!)

Love his look on this one... it's almost like he's saying, "did you get a good shot Mom?!"

YUMMO!

No More Training Wheels!

At 6:10am on Friday morning, April 17th - Brynn came running in to the room yelling, "I can't wait to ride my bike without training wheels!" She had been waiting all week for Daddy to get home from CA to give it a try. (All of the neighborhood kids ride their bikes without training wheels so Brynn wanted to as well). We prepped her as to how she may fall down and that's ok - just get up and keep trying. Well - she never fell down! I guess this girl knows when she's ready - she's ready! She did great!

Go Brynn! Brooky was a great cheerleader!

Yay Brynn!

6 Months!

This boy is 6 months!! Where is the time going?! He's doing so well and I still can't get enough of him, he's too cute! He's rolling over both ways, trying really hard to crawl and he's working on a bottom tooth. He weighs 17.7 pounds (50%) and is 24.8 inches (4%!)... he'll have a growth spurt!

He loves to stick his tongue out these days... too funny! AND he has started eating!!! His first day was Cinco de Mayo... we were having chips and salsa, and Joey celebrated with rice cereal. He actually liked it and the girls got a kick out of feeding him. Pics to come soon!
