Easter... AZ Style!

We  headed to the hotel that they were staying at because the pool was heated and we could all relax together. First - we did Easter pictures! Brooky's earrings haha

The girls! - with Will photobombing on the left!

Everyone is looking a different way!

The girls LOVED Jasmine!

The goofy boys

Here's the whole gang!

The 3 amigos

Then we went back to the room to change into bathing suits and decorate Easter cookies

Yum!

Time for the pool and hot tub!

The girls both got their hair done after swimming

and then we had a nice dinner before we had to say goodbye - a fun day and an Easter we will never forget!

Happy Easter!

The bunny hid the baskets again! Joey found his first...

Yay! The bunny came!

Then Brooky found hers in the bathtub!

and Brynn's was in the shower

Oooh - a new bus!

Time to hunt for eggs

Of course Brynn has hers all lined up and pretty!

Bunny even brought new hula hoops!

and Joey found a new baseball and bat!

The bunny was pretty tricky this year. Can you find the egg?

Happy Easter to all!

Our eggs were so pretty!

Took a quick family photo before heading over to the hotel to spend it with Jess and the kids. We celebrated a little differently than we usually do - but it was perfect. We all had a blast!

Back Home & Getting Ready for Easter!

We got back from Ft. Myers and my friend Jess (from high school) and 2 of her kids were out here vacationing...
We took the day we landed to recover a bit - we were EXHAUSTED! and then met up with them the next day.
We decorated eggs first - so fun! Couldn't post any of the girls because for some reason they decided to color eggs this year without a shirt. Oops!

Joey and Jess

The girls with Will - he's 8

Then we made our famous bunny cake!

We're ready for the bunny!

Time for the BEACH!

The first day we went to Sanibel Island. It was beautiful but took a while to get there because of traffic and all - we forgot it was Spring Break! We found a lot of beautiful shells and the kids had fun playing in the water. The second day we stayed closer and tried out Fort Myers beach. We had a lot of fun here - was not nearly as crowded and we met up with Aunt Deb & Uncle John.
The kids played, ate ice cream on the beach, made sand castles and then we had a goodbye dinner on the beach with Aunt Deb & Uncle John! So fun!

Here's our beach snowman! - the sand there was really neat. Sort of felt like really fine paper powder but it was so good for making castles!

Manatee Park!

This is a place where the water is super warm and the manatees all come up close. It was so cool! We were able to see a bunch of them!

Joey's listening to the manatees "talk" underwater

The girls had a treasure map that they were busy trying to find everything on it

We had to take a picture of the "Chickie" Hut - especially since that's what the kids call her!

It was really cool walking around there!

And we got our picture taken with one of the gentle giants!
