Our Family...

I love the timer on our camera! We always seem to get pretty good pictures. I think these came out pretty well and the whole process only took about 5 minutes!

I even got a surprise kiss! I love our family soooooooooooooo much and our girls are getting so big - too quickly!

Fun With Auntie Col!

Auntie Col came to visit for a few days last week - we had so much fun! She brought out little veils for the girls to practice for the big day! Brooklyn was way more interested in the new toothbrush that she found in Auntie's bag.

Beautiful Princess!

We did so many things while Col was here... well enough to wear the big kids out for sure! The first day we had to go to the park per Brynn... She kept saying, "ET (her version of Auntie) big pok (for park)" SOOOO CUTE - so we had to go!!!

Col got to witness how difficult it is to watch them both at the park. Brooklyn has no fear and will literally walk off an opening 10 feet high if you're not right there with her.

Wheee!

Time out for a snack

That night we heard the ice cream truck so Col gets the great idea of trying to find it. We ran all over the neighborhood and never found it. We ended up at the convenient store up at the corner and told Brynn that's where the ice cream truck drops everything off. She kept saying "icy truck PLEEEEEEASE!"

Baths were needed after those ice pops.

The next day we went to the indoor playground for lunch and fun. I could not take the sand at the park one more day!

Brooklyn looks all happy hear but boy did she have her moments. She was throwing fits left and right and I'm surprised I still have hair left. She was yanking it out by the handfuls!

Mmmm - iced coffees! This helped us get through the days!

bonding with Auntie Col!

Love how her shirt says, "Purr-fect"! Haha, perfectly crazy!!! LOL

She insisted on wearing the frog backpack and running down the roller coaster while sucking on the coke bottle from the play kitchen.

The next day we had a pool day at home.

and Popsicles!

This picture cracks me up. Brynn is trying to watch her alphabet show while Brooklyn keeps messing with her behind the chair. She looks proud!

Brynn LOVED Auntie!!! She wanted to go on the airplane with her so badly. Col gave her her necklace to hold onto until we see her again real soon. Too cute.

Col looks a little pooped! We had fun - thanks for coming!!!! Love and miss you lots! XOXO

Riding The Horse!

I had my first ever Saturday off last week so we took Brynn to go ride a horse. She had been wanting to do this for a while. Even though she doesn't look very happy in a lot of these pictures, she loved it!

There's a smile!

Just had to add this one in of Brooklyn. I never thought I'd ever back down and play movies in the car for the kids - we never had that growing up, right?!?!? - BUT I changed my mind. We were desperate. We LOVE Barney, he saved our lives while driving! Brooklyn loves the car now (in moderation) but at least we can go out and do things without her screaming the entire way! I love you Barney!!!

A Couple Days In Our Lives... Busy but wouldn't trade them for the world!

Remember how Brynn used to love climbing in this drawer? I'm shocked that Brooklyn hasn't climbed on in yet but she sure does enjoy emptying it over, and over, and over....

They love sliding down the slide in the pool (even without water!) Who needs a playground when you've got this?!

Oh, am I not supposed to stand up in the grocery cart??

Brooklyn has advanced from giving head butts for kisses to full on smooches. Just be prepared to wash your face from the drool afterwards!

She's a crazy one but we love her to pieces!

The girls gets dirty all day long so I've resorted to the kitchen sink for quick dunks. She loves it!

She wants to be just like her big sister so of course, that includes the potty. She actually even went on the potty for real last week!! I'm sure that was not planned on her part but still exciting. She loves to flush and her favorite part of the entire event is washing her hands. Everywhere we go, she wants to wash her hands!

She's in charge of feeding Jack these days.

She even shakes his paw!

Bryce got new flowers for our backyard and once we finally convinced Brooklyn not to rip them off the stem and just smell instead... this is what she did! Zoom in and see for yourself - she has part of the flower in her mouth!!

Time to water!

Brooklyn is soaked. Brynn was in charge of watering and everywhere her head went, the hose followed. It didn't matter if you were standing right in front of her!

Brooklyn's 16 Months!!!!

Brooklyn turned 16 months this past Saturday, April 13th , but trying to get a picture of her when she doesn't have food in her hair or running past you at a high rate of speed is not the easiest thing! I took some pictures of her yesterday while she was modeling her Dora hat and was so shocked that she kept it on! The girls love Dora these days!! Here she is playing with Daddy outside...

So dramatic!

and then we had to stop the fun for her to show us her boo boo. I'm pretty sure she was saying "boo boo" as well! She has a big long scratch on her leg from doing laps all around the perimeter of the yard with Brynn (one of their favorite adventures). Check out the expression on her face... maybe she'll be in acting - she's pretty good at it!

"Can you see it better if I hold my leg up like this?!"

This is her sad face... she usually just uses one hand, but 2 gets more sympathy votes!

Sportin her Dora hat... she cracks me up, one pant leg up, one down - that's how she rolls.

Happy 16 Months to YOU!!! It's hard to believe that when Brynn was this age, she was meeting her little sister!  Brooklyn is still our little firecracker... she's starting to be a lot more vocal and trying to tell us what she wants. She loves pointing to all the airplanes, she says "bye", waves & blows kisses. She also gives real kisses now instead of her head butts but just beware... she may sneak in and pinch your face as soon as she's done! She loves to climb, do somersaults and go down the slides all by herself at the park... even if they're 15 feet high. She eats most everything and loves most everything except for swings and eggs. She cracks us up with new things everyday and the looks on her face can either want to make you cry from cuteness or make you cry and run away from being afraid! She is very determined and has quite the temper - especially if you tell her no. She has also been doing much better with sleeping at night - yay! (hopefully I didn't just jinx us)... She definitely keeps us on our toes and adds that bit of spunk to our family - we love her to pieces!
