Squeeky Clean & Pretty in Pink...

Yesterday was bath day for us girls... we needed it! Brooke gets a bath in the big blow up ducky. I was afraid of him at first but he's starting to grow on me. She must like him because she didn't cry once AND she was actually smiling through some of it!

I got a bath too - look at my hair! (I just had to sneak a picture in of me too!!)

Since we were all clean and our hair washed - we went out shopping... even Brooke got a bow for her hair! Isn't she cute?!

I Escaped!

Jack and I spend a lot of time together while Mommy is busy with Brooklyn... changing diapers, feeding her, changing her clothes, etc... SO -

I wanted to see what it was like to be just like Jack. Mommy caught me trying to take a drink from his water...

YUK! It wasn't all that good. I think I'll stick to my cups!

Then... I watched him go outside and so I thought I'd try that too! Even without my shoes... Jack doesn't wear shoes! Hmmm... should I go head first?

Or feet first???

Ok - head first it is! SEE YA MOMMY!!!

My Sister's Smiling!

We got Brooklyn a "Peanut Sling" so Mommy has free hands to chase me around! We're shocked - she likes it!!! (she hasn't liked the other ones that we bought so this is a step in the right direction!)

Along with having a sister, comes learning how to share. I let Brooke borrow my bean bag chair for just a little while. We set up her mirror so she can see how cute she is!

Look - she's smiling!!! Or maybe she's laughing at her hair! I think she's starting to feel a little better the past couple days. There's been a few more smiles and not as many cries... We're all happy about that - especially Brooklyn!

Fun With Grammy...

Grammy Jean & Brooklyn Jean!

Grammy was trying to play with Brooklyn on the floor. My Grammy is just a little kid in a big person body!

I went to my very first birthday party this past Saturday! I can't wait for my next invitation...

Mommy & her girls... this was right before we headed out on our first shopping adventure. I hope Mommy & Grammy are ready! Buy Buy Baby here we come!

Here we are! Brooke has to sit in the back because I always sit up front and tell Mommy where to go!

She actually liked shopping! Well, she slept through it but I think she really liked it... I did!

Everyday I walk with Grammy to get the mail. I push my baby in my stroller and always bring my purse. A girl never knows when she might need her purse!

Doctor Day...

Brooklyn and I both had doctor appointments this week at the same time so Mommy & Grammy were running around the house like crazy trying to get us girls dressed, out of the house and to the doctor on time and guess what?!?!? They did it! We even got there early... amazing. Here we are getting ready!

When we got back home, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and then...

that night I got goofy! I don't know what they put in those shots, but it made me run around the house all night. I dragged the zebra around with me! So - doctor update: We are both happy, healthy girls (although Brooklyn may be colic or have some reflux - she'll get better though!) I weigh 25 pounds and I'm 33 inches long. Brooklyn weighs 9.4 pounds and is 21 inches long. Wow, she's grown a lot since she was born! We both had to get shots as well. Brooklyn got one and I had to get three. I wasn't very happy about that and I let the doctor know - I think he'll be scared of me the next time I see him.

Phew - We Did It!

After many, many tries to get a picture of Brooklyn on her one month birthday (when she's not crying... or I'm not trying to take her sticker off) - we did it! Happy One Month Birthday baby Brooke!! Stop growing so fast! xoxoxo

We even managed to get a few more while she was soundly sleeping...

4 Weeks of Baby Snuggles...

4 Weeks ago today my little sister came into this world. I can't imagine my life without her & Mommy, Daddy & I must have been really bored before she got here... now we hardly sit down! We wanted to do something special so I read her a magazine when she woke up and then...

Mommy was feeling brave and took us for a long walk! This is how we get around these days... I ride in style & Brooklyn goes in the pouch. She loves to snuggle though so it works out well and she actually slept through the whole walk!

The girl spits up all the time so I'm always having to clean her up...

She keeps us all busy, but we love her lots!!!

Happy New Year... Happy 17 Months! - January 8, 2012

The day started off with Mom's famous "baby" pancakes! I must have had about 17 of them! Then we did a lot of playing, diaper changing, outfit changing and cleaning!

Baby Brooklyn is already 3 weeks and Mommy and I are still working on getting a picture of her when she's not sleeping, eating or crying which we will post soon, but here is one of her dreaming of all of the fun times we've had since she came to meet us! We love her sooooooooooooo much!
