It's Pumpkin Patch Day!!

Perfect way to start the day... cheerios, bananas and Starbucks!
We headed to Tomalchoff Farms to find the perfect pumpkin
First on the agenda was to get my hands on those goats!
Maybe I could have one for Christmas?!
The biggest corn box I've ever seen!
Look... I'm taller than the cow!
Time to head to the pumpkin patch
Mommy & Daddy could barely keep up with me. I had to move fast before everyone else snatched up the best pumpkins!
I like this one...
Hmmm... or maybe this one!
Yep - this is the one!
While we were checking out, I was keeping a close eye on the lady to make sure she put our apple butter in the bag...
We gave my Daddy all of our stuff to carry to the car - he can handle it!
First thing we did when we got home was to open up the apple butter - DELICIOUS!
Then we carved our pumpkins
I wonder what this stuff tastes like?!
What's in there Dad?
Here's the finished product... Please vote for your favorite! Winner will be announced tomorrow on HALLOWEEN!! (PS - mine is the middle one!)
I love my baby! This was Mommy's very first Cabbage Patch Kid... now she's all mine!

Fall Fun in the Desert!

Thursday, October 20th. Mommy and I joined a play group and we were supposed to meet them at the Desert Botanical Gardens for the Great Pumpkin Festival but......... it was SO crowded and TOO hot to keep looking around for them so I just had fun with my Mom! We took a bumpy hayride to the pumpkins and here I am in the hay maze. I was tiring Mommy out because she couldn't catch me!
Here's what a pumpkin patch looks like in 100 degree weather... No smiles :(
We still had fun despite being soaking wet when we left! We cooled off with some nice cold lemonade.
Sunday, October 23rd - "Boo at the Zoo" and it's 92! UGH - hot, hot, hot. Here I am in a heat coma.
I snapped out of it pretty quick and we watch the Eland & Giraffe's eat pumpkins!
BIG lion...
Here's Mommy and I in front of the lion. I really am happy, I'm just hot...
I guess those pumpkins taste good. Maybe I'll eat mine!
Taking a break in the shade...
I LOVED the orangutan!!! He kept looking at me and I kept touching his lips. He made me laugh and I think he wanted me to take him home!
Cheese! Hope the pumpkins don't melt! :) I'm going to one more pumpkin patch next Sunday and hopefully the weather will be much cooler! We're crossing our fingers...

Look What I Can Do!

Now that I'm 14 months, I can do all sorts of things. Some of my favorite things are purses and blowing kisses!
Of course I still love to hide in the dog kennel and I also like hiding in closets and anywhere else where I can shut the door and make Mommy & Daddy hunt for me!
I can also do somersaults! and I really do roll all the way over!

14 Months - October 8th

To celebrate me being 14 months (and the weather being a little bit cooler!) we all went to Rawhide Doomtown to kick off the fall season! We went on a scary train ride and I wasn't even scared... Mommy was though - a man jumped out and made her scream! At least I was there to protect her.
There was a headless horseman too...
Brown Bear came along too. I had to put him down for a bit to play with the "eyeball" balls!
Mommy & I with Frankenstein!
I got to try out my very first caramel apple - YUM!
and when we got home, I got to brush Jada and...
give her a BIG kiss! I love Jada!
