My 1st Easter!

A little Easter Egg hunt in my backyard...
I saw the Easter Bunny last night for the very first time. I'm not so sure what to think of that bunny, he's very big.
Happy Easter!

My Auntie Allison Comes to Visit!

Talk about a bad hair day?!?! This scared me. Carpet + couch does not equal happy hair!Auntie Allison got me a walker to practice my skills. She looks a little nervous with me behind the wheel...
This is a piece of cake... I kept telling her to relax - I got this!
I caught everyone by surprise when I escaped from my crib! Mommy & Allison had gone for brunch and Daddy found me on the floor in my room playing on my play mat. They lowered the crib - but it won't be long before I figure out how to get out of here!

I'm Learning SO Much! I can almost walk and I'm crunching on Puffs!

My First Horse Race!

Look at them go! They're so fast...
Wearing my beach dress!
Here I'm picking out my horses to win. For the last race, Mommy & Allison picked "Beach Babe" to win. It was only when the race was starting that they realized they bet on the wrong race and the number they picked was actually Forest Mouse - but guess what?!?!?! THEY WON!
In the Winner's Circle!

A Day at the Desert Botanical Gardens

The gardens were beautiful and I had it made being pushed around in my stroller!
I wore a dress to match all of the flowers there...
We went through their butterfly exhibit and one even landed on Mommy's arm. We tried to get a picture but she blew air on it by accident and it flew away!
Me and my Auntie Allison
The colors were all so bright...
Look! I can even drink from a water fountain now! I'm getting so big.

Our Trip to Sedona & Out of Africa

Thursday was Allison's last day so we took a road trip to the red rocks and Africa! It was soooo fun! We don't want her to leave :(
I've had my picture taken at this same spot many times before... I'm a regular in Sedona!
Time for Out of Africa. We went on this safari ride and the animals came right up to our jeep. They said not to stick your arms and legs outside with the zebras because they will eat them. Mommy held on to me tight!
Look how close they were!
Glad to be on the other side of the fence here...
The giraffe's and camels were the nicest. We could feed them carrots because they won't bite. His tongue is SO long!
Bad hair day... lots of wind!
I loved the safari ride...
This is the tiger splash. They used blow up toys to get the tiger to run around and jump in the pool - he was cute!
We even got to feed him! Here I am with my Auntie Allison...
These animals tired me out... I'm resting my eyes here!
My new adirondack chair!
When we got home, we had some nice time relaxing on the patio in our matching chairs - thank you for my chair Auntie Allison!! I LOVE YOU!! Come back and visit soon!

8 Months Already!

Well, I'm 8 months old now and I like to move. I'm crawling and love to explore. A few of my favorite things so far are the dog's water bowl, the pictures on the shelf, the dog door, the door stoppers and the plugs. Mom said I'm starting to become a tough model since I won't sit still... picture days aren't what they used to be! The truth is that I can sit still if I want to, I just like watching her run around and chase me! Enjoy my pics...
Here we go... I'm pretending I'm reading so maybe I can get out this whole photo shoot thing!
The reading trick didn't work, so maybe if I lay down...
Nope - she's still at it. I'm taking my sign down. I thought she figured it out last month that the sign won't last long, but apparently she forgot!
She caught me in the act and hung it back up... I crack myself up!
Well, we moved onto the floor and kept the sign out of the picture. I cooperated for a few shots - my Mom is persistent, but I love her!
